- The deliberations of the meeting were about the following major topics: Strengthening REDD-related knowledge at local, national and regional levels, the creation of technical abilities for measuring and monitoring carbon stocks of forests in the Congo Basin and the promotion of the REDD concept of sustainable management projects for Congo Basin forests
- To close this workshop, participants worked on the four main components/outputs of the project. The issue was to suggest formulations of expected activities and products more precisely and adapted to the current situation in the Congo Basin; to carry out an analysis of the situation and make recommendations on activities to be undertaken in each component; to identify additional funding/opportunities in order to integrate other countries such as Cameroon, the DRC and Gabon, not yet taken into...
